urgh! i got bitten by the flu bug! i've been sneezing all day long at work. so paiseh can? ohh..talking about work, its almost 2 weeks now and i feel that work is like ITP, except better because i'm being well-fed. hehe. the pantry is small but the amount and variety of food and drinks is like super lahh. haha. right now i'm still doing the basic stuff and i can't imagine myself taking over some of my colleague's workload in the upcoming months. it's going to be freakin' stressful and i think i'll go home late every single night. die! haha. the time pass by so quickly during work and i guess that's a good thing :)

i've quited my part time job!

reasons for quitting:

1) i can't stand my boss

2) i can't stand irritating customers esp those 'action' angmohs and slutty SPGs

3) my mom asked me to quit so why not?

i will definitely miss:

1) eating those overpriced and overrated chocolates, cakes and souffles for FREE

2) my colleagues

3) those nice and regular customers

4) watching the 'bapoks' and listening to their entertaining conversations

5) looking at yayue and charlotte when they are doing their 'thing'

6) washing the dishes? haha

i went to batam with yan and her aunties. we were millionaires for a day and shop like crazy over there. we also ate seafood at this 'fish farm'. the tour group(consist of 3 couple and the 4 of us) was super 'on' so overall, the 1-day tour was really really worth it.

me and yan went to Ice Cream Chefs @ East Coast Rd. we tried creme brulee i/c+chocolates&hersheys i/c+maltesers and the 'durian surprise' which is a combination of durian decadance i/c+chocolates&hersheys i/c+loakers waffers. the 'durian surprise' gets 10/10 because it really tasted like D24 durians. the other i/c gets 8/10 and i will definitely come back for more!

the interview @ Trident Logistics was ok i guess. the truth was that i wasn't prepared at all. i forgot to include some awards in my pathetic portfolio and i lost one of my result slip so i had to print it online. oh, and my white formal top decided to go m.i.a so i had to wear this silky blue top instead. didi mention that the interview was about 1 1/2 hrs long?! by the time it was over, my butt was aching and i was very very hungry.oh..and im still waiting for his call..

i had an early dinner wih yan @ MadJacks before heading down to the 'durian' to catch Kumar's latest stand-up comedy, Stripped Bare and Standing Up. all i can say about his performance was that it was freakin' hilarious and he does a really good impersonation of the matreps. heh. he also poked fun of some of our famous politician like the SM,PM and the PM's wife. he also mentioned about an upcoming musical, Sing Dollar, where he'll play a bangla dishwasher. looks like i've gotta start saving money again! :)

time passes so quickly and before u know it, its already a new year. let's hope that the economy will be better in 2009 so that there'll be more jobs for me to apply after i graduate. heh. so, no countdown for me this year. instead, i spent the last hours of 2008 and the first hours of 2009 watching movies (Shrek the third, ALL 3 POTC, Harry Potter and the Order of Pheonix, Stranger than fiction and Camp Rock!) haha. anyways, i'm currently listening to lily allen's the fear. i love the song and the video is just too cute!

i tried 2 more new i/c flavours from cedele annddd bought this freakin' cute choc bar from Chocolate Research Facility(CRF). i think i have a thing for hand-made chocs. somehow they taste different from those factory-made ones. heh. oh no! working at Laurent's cafe and eating his chocs has turned me into a choc fanatic! :)

i've decided that my 2009 resolutions will be to try ALL the cloud 9 i/c flavours and all the chocs at CRF! well basically, i want to eat more!

sat's training was ..... no comments la. but i was happy to see new faces though. the hockey girls' attitudes and behaviors during training were fantastic! they were so enthu la and i meant it in a good way.

their hazelnut latte tasted similar to starbuck's toffeenut latte. sweet and nice. just perfect. and the sea salt caramel i/c was nice too. i didn't know that salt+caramel could complement each other till today. heh. the cafe was definitely a suitable plc to sit and talk after a heavy lunch and i want to try their cakes and i/c flavours on the next visit! :D

busy busy! a few more days till the DEADLINE!! ohgod! the only things left are the surveys/interviews part and the overall conclusion part. this week was quite productive because we manage to finish up on a LOT of things :D

so ystd, maria and me saw this mini christmas parade while waiting for the bus. unfortunately, i only manage to snap a photo because i was waving and wishing them a merry xmas instead of snapping more pics. it was my first time watching a 'mini parade' and i guess i was too excited. haha.

even the rain couldn't dampen their xmas spirit.

mystery jets is coming here! yea! their gig @ zouk is on the 11th next month but unfortunately, no one wants to go with me. im even more surprise that no one knows who they are or where they come from. imo, they're similar to the kooks so if u like their music, im sure u'll like mystery jets too.

anyways, im starting to feel the stress from our FYP because we're left with less than 11days to hand in the FINAL report and i just feel like we have no time to do more interviews. im really hoping to get at least a C because tts the grade tt we truly deserve. i know the others are really putting in more effort and commitment to their FYP than us but hopefully, with a lot of luck, we'll get through our FYP with at least a B/C+.

Bakerzin's chocolate souffle and sweet pleasure were both very disappointing. The souffle was quite dry and the coffee ice cream tasted like the kind of ice cream that you can get from NTUC. As for the pleasure, the taste was okay but presentation-wise, it wasn't pretty. The only thing that i like was the little nuts that was sprinkled on top of the souffle and ice cream. But i want to try their macorons next time bcos they look so cute. heh.

today was the most embarassing day everr! went to vivo after sch with yani. we went to a couple of stores and whenever i step in or out of each store, the sensor will go off. i thought it was just purely coincidential..until i went to topshop and the freakin alarm went off again. i had enough man! at first i though someone 'accidentally' put something in my bag but the sensor didnt went off when my bag went through it. so i realised that it must be something that i'm wearing. took off the sandals that i was wearing and i walked barefooted towards the sensor and guess what? the sensor didn't went off! f-ckin zara. they must've forgotten to un-sensor the sandals when i bought it weeks ago. lucky for me, zara was only a few shops away from topshop. so i went there to get them un-sensored. but still!! i can't forget the look on the faces of all those salespersons. hmph!

SRRR was fun except for the occational problems here and there. the problems were mostly caused by that moley bitch (hehe!) and some kids with fucked-up attitudes. those who came will know who im talking about. this year was definitely more 'chaotic' because it wasn't an open catogary and there were a few teams who signed-up late. anddd even with the PATHETIC no. of helpers, the event went quite smoothly. but i do HOPE there'll be more helpers next year because seriously, not even half of the freaking SP Team was there. i worked till 1am on friday and reached home at 2am but yet i still came on sat.i worked on sat till 1230am, stayed-overnight(last-min decision) at clarke quay and took the first train home to bathe but i still managed to reach before the games start.

omg! i saw a freaking snake otw to dhoby gaut stn ystd! i was walking at the pavement along clemenceau ave when i noticed something moving beside this tree. i turned and saw this snake(abt 2mtrs long) beside this tree. shocking man. i wanted to call the police(tts what u're suppose to do right?) but decided not too because it was already late and i dun want to wait for the police to arrive. hopefully there wont be any news tmr about pple getting bitten by a snake along that ave. heh.
